When I was compiling this list, I’ve got to tell you that I didn’t think that the Autopia would be an attraction that I would really have much interest in riding. I’ve ridden the Magic Kingdom’s counterpart, the Tomorrowland Speedway, and to be honest, I think that it is a ride that is sorely due for some serious renovations. However, when I saw this photo and saw how close the monorail gets to the Autopia, I instantly became excited about the attraction, and I plan on riding it when we get out there!
For the younger generation, the Autopia is often one of the first cars that your youngster can drive. There is a small height requirement to ride the attraction, just 32″, so it is possible to ride the attraction even when you are small. The car only goes a certain speed, and there is a rail, so you can’t drive off the road or anything, so for a small person, this is a great way to get their first ride in a “real” car!
So tell me, please — is the Autopia a better version of the Tomorrowland Speedway that you can find in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World? I’m really curious to know what you think. I know that I will find out myself in just 79 days, give or take a day or two, but I’m still curious to know what you think. If you have any comments, please feel free to leave them, and thanks for stopping by!
