For Day 88 of our countdown til Disneyland, we are sharing with you today the Indiana Jones Adventure – The Temple of the Forbidden Eye! My friends all tell me that this is a great attraction to see, so I’m excited about it, and so is Cindy, but we are not sure if our daughter Sophie will like it…it kind of reminds me of a ride similar to the DINOSAUR ride over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and that is definitely a ride she DID NOT like!
But never fear, the single rider line is here! If Sophie doesn’t want to experience this ride, the Indiana Jones Adventure has FastPass available, and the Rider Switch available, and the Single Rider Line available, so Cindy and I can both enjoy the ride!
You tell me, though, what do you think of the Indiana Jones Adventure? It’s nothing at all like the Indiana Jones attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, right? We’ve never done that ride either, but if I remember correctly, I believe that is a show, not a ride, but if I’m wrong, please correct me.

Hi Mike,
You’re correct that the Hollywood Studios Indiana Jones version is a show. It’s actually a stunt show and it’s great. Lots of action, some comedy, loud explosions, fire, and mayhem! Some people think it’s time for an update (the jokes do wear thin, once you’ve seen it half a dozen times)! But I love it just the way it is.
I’ve always wanted to experience the Disneyland version though. Based on pictures I’ve seen, it does remind me of Dinosaur, which is a bit rough — so I understand Sophie’s reluctance. I’ll be interested to hear how you like it!

This ride is really one of the finest Disney rides around! We loved it. It is a simulator style, like Dinosaur, but I didn’t remember it being as rough. I highly recommend it!
