How California Screamin’ can make you sick…

California Screamin’, located over in Paradise Pier at Disney’s California Adventure Park, is, in my opinion, the best roller coaster at any Disney park.  I know that Space Mountain certainly has it’s fans, as does Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, or the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride, but for me, California Screamin’ has got it all.  This roller coaster is what the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is based off of, but it is twice as long, outdoors, and offers up some great views of parts of the park.  In the video, you’ll see great moments involving another train that we almost criss-crossed with during our run.

During our trip this past July, Shane and I rode in the very front seats of the coaster, and shot this video with my GoPro.  I apologize in advance for the quality — I am not a videographer at all, and this video proves it!  However, I hope it does give you some insight into how California Screamin’ can make you sick!  If nothing else, the quality of the video may do the trick all on it’s own!

So how can California Screamin’ make you sick?  Well, to be honest, I’m not sure how often people do get sick on this coaster — but I imagine if you were to load up on a bunch of junk food, maybe ride the Tower of Terror several times in a row, and things like that, getting on California Screamin’ may put you over the edge.

So tell me, what did you think of the video?  More importantly, what do you think of California Screamin’?  Have you ridden it before?  Take a moment and let me know in the comments, and thanks for riding along with us!

I was not forewarned that it had the propelled start. Surprised was an understatement!

Yes, it’s like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in that regard, it’s a great ride though! I loved it! Thanks for the comment, Mary! Did you like the ride?

I LOVED California Screamin’. Tom was too chicken to ride so I went in the single rider line and was on the ride within a few minutes. It was a very comfortable coaster and just a ton of fun. I say comfortable because just two days before I rode the coaster at New York, New York in Las Vegas and I pretty much had bruising afterwards from all the knocking around.

Thanks for commenting, Roe, my wife and I love California Screamin’, although one time we haven’t experienced it yet is at night. That’s on Cindy and my list for next time! Thanks for commenting!

Karen and I enjoyed it, and I do think it is Disney’s best coaster to date!
